Non-Pass Ticket Options

Buying Tickets

  • ONLINE: Online Box Office opens on Saturday, September 27th.
  • IN PERSON: The Physical Box Office opens on Monday, October 13th (11:00 am - 6:00 pm) at the Orpheum Theatre and will remain open on Tuesday, October 16th (11:00 am - 6:00 pm) & Wednesday, October 17th (11:00 am - 8:00 pm). During the festival, tickets to all screenings and events may be purchased at the Orpheum, Scottish Rite Box and Garvey Theater Box Offices. All other box office venues sell tickets for that venue only.
  • WILL CALL: Monday, Oct. 13-Wendesday October 15: Orpheum Theater. PLEASE NOTE: on Thursday, Oct. 16-Sunday, Oct. 19 WILL CALL moves to the lobby of The Lux (120 E.1st.) Please pick up ALL Will Call tickets and passes for comps and sponsors here.

Ticket Prices:

General Admission tickets are $10, with a discounted ticket price of $8 for students/teachers/seniors/military/TFA members with valid ID.

General Admission Matinees are $5 for shows that screen before 5:00 pm on Thursday and Friday.

Gala tickets begin at $25 and include the film, Q&A and after-party with open bar/food/live music.

Free Friday Films: A selection of films will be offered free of charge for students/teachers and seniors (65+) with proper ID during the morning and afternoon on Friday. Presented by Prairie Fire Coffee Roasters.

Free Films at the Public Library - Downtown Library & Wichita Center for the Arts: All films screened at these locations are free of charge and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Fine Print

  • Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangable.
  • Many films have not yet been rated by the MPAA. Parental discretion is advised.
  • No babes in arms.
  • Program running times may not include introductions, trailers, or Q&A’s.

Sponsor & Filmmaker Passes

Sponsor/Filmmaker Pass

Your sponsor or filmmaker pass works just like a VIP TALLPass and allows the bearer admission to all screenings, galas, parties and events listed above. Please be sure to check your email for exclusive invitations to sponsor-only events. Sponsors will be emailed voucher and ticket receipts. Vouchers can be exchanged at the physical box office beginning October 13.

Additional Details

Tickets are non exchangeable and non-refundable.

Passholders are granted priority admission to select screenings.

Seating is first come, first serve and is not guaranteed. 

Many of the films at the festival have not been rated by the MPAA. They may contain adult themes or strong language and may not be suitable for children.

No babes in arms.

General Admission vouchers are not redeemable for Smallgrass Films.

Groupons and Wisebuys are good for General Admission screenings ONLY. Receipts may be exchanged at all festival box offices.
